After all our family has been through we were blessed to make contact with Designing 4 Hope in July 2011. We had been through a lot since 2006. Our twins were born 4 months early with one being a stillborn and the other born fighting for her life coming into the world at 1 lb 5 oz and LOTS of medical problems. Our daughter is now 5 1/2 yrs old and still sees 10 + specialists and has a rare GI disease called Eosinophilc Esophagitis. This disease is life altering and without special medical hypoallergenic formula and a G-tube to feed her she wouldn't be with us. Our daily life is filled with constant medical visits and hospital stays. Designing 4 Hope picked our daughter as a canidate for a bedroom makeover. This would give our girl a place to be comfortable, grow, relax and be at home since most of her time gets spent at hospitals and doctors offices. Designing 4 Hope blessed us with the comfort knowing that our girl would have this kind of room. What ever she needed for her medical equipment would be supplied and what ever she hoped for to make her happy would be given. So many came together to make this bedroom makeover possible. friends, famliy, a college even came from hours away to voluneer their time to make this all happen in just one day. Designing 4 Hope gave of there time, efforts, money and mostly their HEARTS! Her room was transformed into her favorite place to be instead of a room that had a bed to rest in. Lauren has enjoyed her new space now for almost 3 months and we just can't get over the kindness and generosity that has been giving to us. We a long term friendship with each and every one from the design team. They care and keep taps on our daughters progress and health status. They also blessed us with Helping our 2 yr old so with many things to give him his very own bedroom which he didn't have before Designing 4 Hope came into our lives. We were doubly blessed and that is no just because Designing 4 Hope was willing to help but also because people and companies were willing and able to wonderful donations to make this all possible. Please consider Designing 4 Hope....they are making children's & their famlies dreams a reality!! Thank you.
