Crossway Community, Inc. is a center for innovative, community-based anti-poverty solutions in the greater Washington, DC area. We promote community, creativity and learning for all families. Our evidence-based programs provide economically disadvantaged, single mothers the educational tools they need to build the social and financial networks that break the cycle of generational poverty.
Since 1990 Crossway Community has served over 6,000 women in the Washington DC region. Parents report that 90% of the children who have attended our Montessori education program are above grade level in school and 70% of our adult students are currently enrolled in post-secondary education programs

One of the things that stands out to me is Crossway's holistic approach to changing the lives of mothers enrolled in the Family Leadership School.
