Reviews for Cristo Rey High School Sacramento

Rating: 5 stars

Cristo Rey high school Sacramento helped me to reach out to my community. They also became an important part of my life as I attended the school back in 2009. When I first went into the school and started my first class, I thought, 'Wow! the class size is so small and everyone seems so friendly!'. As I got involved with the school, I learned that I too can be a leader when I was in charge of my first event. I loved the experiences Cristo Rey high school gives to their students, and I as a student who is now Senior that will be graduating in 2013, appreciates how hard they work for us. Though Cristo Rey high school does not look as appealing as it seems, the inside of the school has a totally different vibe once you step onto the campus and get to know the teachers and students here at Cristo Rey high school Sacramento.

Having been involved in Sacramento Area Community based organizations since the late 1980s, I have seen few programs that have the direct impact on the life of a young person as the Corporate Work Study Program at Cristo Rey HS. I have had the privilege to have worked as a teacher at CRHS for the last 6 1/2 years and have witnessed time and time again that the training and experiences economically disadvantages teens receive during their years at Cristo Rey truly transform their present life and the hope of a better future by setting their feet on the path of college as well as giving them real-life work experience in the Corporate World.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

seeing its impact on the lives of the students who have attend CRHS.
