Over the past year they have outgrown their space. The reason, they are exceptional at serving the community and providing the classes the community wants. Another reason, the teachers/instructors. The instructors are phenomenal with all students. They motivate the students to want to learn and achieve to the very highest standards. This is exceptionally true of the Ballet Department. Since starting in ballet 2 years ago, the ballet classes have moved to larger space. They again need to move to larger space as the program has grown exponentially. This all goes back to the instructors. Outstanding!

They provide a learning environment for so many children and adults for the North Georgia area. From music; both instrument and song, to art, ballet, book writing...they provide opportunities for all. The staff and instructors are awesome, and have "promoted" so many young adults into a life long journey in the Arts...

For nearly half a century in Dalton and surrounding communities, the Creative Arts Guild has been a highly visible center for engagement with the performing and visual arts, whether through participation, study, or simply enjoyment. Its programs in dance instruction have been especially far-reaching--both of my daughters were enrolled in them, one for the full duration of her elementary and high school years--but the CAG is also noted for its provision of instruction and exhibition opportunities for local painters and sculptors and for its music teaching and performances. It was one of the first local agencies to reach out to the large Latino population which began moving into our area in the early 1990's and to open avenues into their rich cultural heritage for the general public. About the only major area of the arts where the CAG is relatively inactive is theater, but this is already served by two community theaters, each of which has a full season of offerings.

The Creative Arts Guild is beacon of light for Dalton, GA. With festivals and art displays year round, this organization is a huge blessing to the Northwest Georgia area. My wife and I love visiting to see the local artists and the time and effort put into their work. The festival in the fall is a huge hit with thousands of people coming from all over. In addition to all this, the classes that are available make this a wonderful place for your children to learn.

The Creative Arts Guild in Dalton, GA is an amazing venue that gives children and adults a place to create. To externalize the internal into something beautiful whether it is fine arts, gymnastics or dance. Since my introduction to the Guild I have come to understand that artists are not born in the big cities, but in places like the Guild.

I am very impressed with the Creative Arts Guild in Dalton. It is a very nice facility with an excellent staff, and I think it serves an important function in Whitfield County. I had never been there before I was invited to make an appearance as one of the guest authors from Dalton State College, so I didn't know what to expect. The facility is very modern and comfortable, and the Guild offers many interesting programs. I'm sure there's something for everyone, and I look forward to returning to the Guild soon!

I have attended events at the guild and it is always extremely well done and very professional. They always offer many options for the community to get involved with the arts and also with their gymnastics and ballet programs, which are excellent. The Director and staff are all professionals doing an awesome job.

I was very pleased to be part of an event at the Guild that was designed to feature local writers and authors. The event was well designed and I was impressed with the facilities of the Guild. There is a nice art gallery and lots of space for citizens to experience and do various genre of art. I look forward to going to other events there.
