Not just another food bank. Real help for real people, not just an endless circle of do gooders and handout seekers.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the way they have set up the food distribution, the health needs, and so on. It's unique, it's innovative, it's needed right here in Martinsville and Henry Co.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Ways to make it better...

I had more time to volunteer. I give money because it's my way of helping, I just wish I could do more especially since I've seen the need first hand.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Community Storehouse deserves a 5 star rating for working so hard to fight the plagues of hunger and poverty that have taken its toll on our struggling community. The volunteers work so hard to deliver back to the community, 110% of what the organization receives & it shows. A quarter of a million boxes of groceries have been distributed already & over 800 backpacks for hungry children leave the building every week -- that's hard work -- that's worth it! SUPPORT COMMUNITY STOREHOUSE!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

genuinely thoughtful & caring concerning, not just those around them, but the community in general; the overall well being & health of the community they've raised their children, worked, and worshiped is why they're there everyday.
