We permanently conserve land to benefit the natural and human communities of western Penobscot Bay.
Since 1986, we have permanently protected almost 8,000 acres of land in this rapidly developing part of coastal Maine.

The land trust acquired land and received conservation easements to permanently protect and preserve biological diversity, scenic landscapes, and forest and water resources, and to provide the public with outdoor recreational opportunities.

Over the last 40 years, I have been involved with numerous nonprofit organizations. Never have I found a more passionate board and staff that inspires participation and donation.
