The Foundation was created by a group of concerned Americans who wish to assist the survivors and dependents of CIA officers who died in the line of duty as the result of hostile action. These survivors and dependents deserve the support of their fellow Americans because of the supreme sacrifice made by their loved ones in defending the freedoms that all Americans enjoy.
Creation of the Mike Spann Fund (in honor of the CIA officer killed recently in Afghanistan) is the Foundation's initial act.

Reviews for CIA Officers Memorial Foundation
The CIA Officers Memorial Foundation is a charity that provides college scholarships and other support to the children of CIA officers killed in the line of duty. The parents of these kids are people who voluntarily exposed themselves to tremendous personal risk in the service of our country for relatively modest financial compensation. Watch Zero Dark Thirty and see the true story of a female CIA officer with multiple kids back home get blown to bits by a double agent working for Al Queda. As U.S. citizens we have an obligation to look after the families of our clandestine agents working overseas in dangerous places so that we can live in relative peace in our home country.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Communicate more with donors in a similar manner as SOWF does so well. I realize the people killed are working under cover and care has to be taken with respect to information disclosed about them but I still feel the communication about the kids they are helping could be better.
