CENTER FOR KERATOCONUS Overview
We are the largest organization for keratoconus. Center for Keratoconus was founded in 1999 by Robert Gavin, an actor who starred in the popular ABC television series "Land of The Lost" and guest starrd in "Baywatch". Gavin himself has keratoconus. Our team includes doctors with affiliations at Johns Hopkins University, University of California at Los Angeles, University of California at Berkeley, New York University, University of Iowa, Cedar-Sinai Medical Center, and Mount Sinai Medical Center. Center for Keratoconus supports new research programs to provide better treatments and finding a cure. We provide keratoconus patients the necessary funding to treat their disease in order to improve their daily life, and allow them to regain their livelihood.
