I am both a Client served and a volunteer. When I have needed help, they have either helped or led me to another agency that can help. I helped with their back to school giveaway. Over 700 were helped with school supplies, clothes, or both.

The staff is truely loving and caring, as well as knowledgeable about not only their agency but all resources in the area.

I know of no other organization that does what Ann and Charles and their ministry do. I have benefited often simply be being known I cant always support financially but any time I have needed help...Caring Hands has been there. These folks and their outreach are miraculous. If you want to see God's ministry as Jesus told us about look no farther than Caring Hands and Ann and Charles Fleming.

Caring Hands Ministries is a 20 yr old volunteer driven ministry that shows God's love in practical ways by helping people of all races, religions, political persuasions, family structures, ages etc. with emergency food, housing, utilities, and with overcoming the factors that often lead to crisis to crisis living. Volunteers help because they care. Many have experienced the same or similar problems to what clients of the ministry face and can understand and can offer first hand help on how to deal with and avid some of the emergencies. In addition to ongoing help the ministry hosts a Community Christmas Dinner that serves 550-650 people on Christmas afternoon, Summer food give a2ways hat help families whose children normally have free school lunch and breakfast to have food in summer vacation, Camp Appalachia that offers children from low income families and special needs students fun, food, opportunities to succeed and to explore the local area., Back to school give aways (clothing and school supplies that served 900+ this August), and coat and blanket give aways. Caring Hands is blessed with strong community support but always needs more funds to be able to meet the growing needs in this very low income area of the Northeast Ga mountains.
