We are dedicated to eliminating the middle man, and to make dreams come true, one small step at a time. When battling cancer, sometimes the smallest thing can be the biggest stress, and we plan to help alleviate that by providing assistance for basic bills, home/ care repairs, school supplies, food and more. As we are all volunteer, and have a strong track record with operating a charity, you can be assured that not onlyyour funds will make the most impact, but that we will sustain- and little by little, we will prevail in the battle against cancer!

We have purchased tshirts and stickers to sell, to raise funds for our current and future families.

estimating approximately 100

Geographic areas served:

Currently Rochester, NY; Redmond, WA

we provide family assistance to families facing cancer for basic necessities, bills or other needed goods and supplies

jme is amazing and works tirelessly for all of her causes. She is a true inspiration and goes above and beyond to offer hope to those who need it most--be it humans or animals. I am extremely fortunate to be able to call her my lifelong friend. The "Cancer Is a Jerk" concept is amazing. And the products are wonderful--the stickers are durable and eye-catching. And I wear the soft, comfy shirts all the time and hear the comment, "I love your shirt!" at least once every time I wear them in public. Thank you, jme & cancerisajerk.org, for giving hope to those who need it most! Leisha, breast cancer survivor & mom to Morgan (whose "Cancer is a Jerk" letter can be seen on the homepage)

Jme Thomas, creator of slogan "cancer is a jerk", has been impacted by cancer in WAY too many ways for someone her age. Young children can understand that phrase and will impose their own feelings on what it means to them. Jme's perseverence in all that she does makes most people tired just thinking about it. Yet she sees a need and tackles it, headlong. Cancer is most certainly a JERK and I know this, first-hand. The slogan says it all. Nancy J
