Mission:
Each season, Broadway By the Bay produces three or four full-scale musicals at the 1,600 seat San Mateo Performing Arts Center (SAMPAC), which is the largest stage between San Francisco and San Jose. In addition to reaching an audience of more than 7,000 subscribers and 4,000 single ticket buyers for each show, the productions provide performance opportunities for the Bay Area’s most talented musical theatre performers and six Equity performers per season.

Why go all the way to New York City when Broadway By the Bay is right here in our community? The shows are terrific! Bravo to Brooke Knight and Jim Gardia! The artistic group plan two hugely popular shows, a third show that is creatively edgy, and the fourth show highlights a famous producer. ...
