After further research and being called several times a day. It is a scam. I will not give to such an organization. If you want to give , help a neighbor or friend who has breast cancer. We all know someone whether it be a family member or friend.

After a barrage, every evening, of late calls, I decided to answer the phone from The Breast Cancer Charities of America. A fast talking lady told me how hard it was to get a hold of me and after our conversation, I was switched over to another women who wanted a $30.00 pledge and my credit card number. I told her that she wasn't going to get my card number and that I would write a check. I got my first notice in the mail about a week ago and have decided to not support this charity when I just got my second notice today in the mail. The phone calls have not stopped since my initial conversation with them. They are a relentless group of people and I will not donate to them. I want the phone calls to stop!!!!

They are high pressure and downright abusive. They call a minimum of 3 times a day. I have tried to block their calls but they use another number. So glad I didn't give them my credit card number as they wanted me to do. I would never give to this type of organization. Most likely the positive reviews are from fellow scammers.

I get many calls and did independent research. According to several news investigations I saw, they are one of the worst charities in America, with less than 1% of donations going to actually help women with breast cancer.

Breast Cancer Charities of America have called me nonstop. I thought they would eventually give up but no such luck. I finally answered the phone. When I tried to ask questions about the organization, she wouldn't stop talking to let me say anything and then hung up on me. Apparently they are going to send me a donation request. I will not be sending a donation based on my experience and from reading some of the other comments.

Seems like a scam. I needed to speak to someone regarding my pledge but when calling the only phone number on the form, they are "never available" and I've tried all times of the day. The form i'm referring to requested that my pledge be automatically deducted each month. Wow that IS NOT going to happen. Such a shame.

Its a scam. Sham on the employees who not only waste money but taint all charitable giving.

I'm getting very sick and tired of them calling me many times each day asking for donations. I would rate them with NO STARS but this program submittal made me select at least 1 star.

"According to a group’s publicly accessible IRS forms, it’s received roughly $45 million in open donations given it began in 2009. But a Help Now Fund has usually handed out usually only $187,403 to women to assistance tocompensate their bills. That is less than 1 percent of the $45 million it’s collected in donations." http://searchforthegood.com/critics-raising-questions-over-breast-cancer-charitys-fundraising-spending/
