Bread and Water for Africa helps so many in Africa in so many ways. From clean water to orphan care - they really make the difference. Their volunteer spokesperson is a mother to many orphans and her Baraka Farm feeds the children and provides an income for the orphanage. Education is an important part of healing Africa and their education programs help so many. I support them!

I've just recently donated to Bread and Water for Africa and I am very impressed at less than one percent of the money donated to Bread and Water for Africa is going to administration expenses leaving over 99% going to the programs!

Bread & Water for Africa has a long history of providing assistance to children in some of the poorest regions on the planet. From food to medicine to education, the organization supports its local partners in providing sustainable solutions to poverty. One of the core strengths of the organization is its ability to identify, qualify, and monitor local organizations to ensure that donations get used as they are supposed to be used.
When the TV reporters are gone, Bread & Water for Africa is still around.
Bread and Water for Africa excels at providing the resources necessary for developing self sufficiency that allows these disadvantaged communities to reduce their dependence on others for the basic necessities for survival. The programs promote enduring skills that will result in a more independent culture.
Bread and Water for Africa is great. They support programs in Africa that the communities develop. They also bring fresh water to areas where there is none. This improves the health and quality of life for all of those in the community. I see from their reporting that they have very little overhead so I know my money is being used wisely.
Bread and Water for Africa does an amazing job of leveraging in country support systems to develop sustainable support structures for communities. This is especially important today, as the major Ebola virus outbreak challenges governmental support systems.
