The auburn alumni association has a primary objective the creation, nurturing and strengthening of the ties between auburn university and its alumni and friends. We seek to foster a sense of identification with, allegiance to and pride in their connection with auburn university that over the years will result in interest in its continued greatness. We do this in a variety of ways. We sponsor programs to encourage their return to the physical campus. We host functions, such as tailgates at away football games and tours for groups of alumni and friends that foster a sense of belonging to the "family" of auburn university. We send members a quarterly magazine that keeps them informed about matters concerning the university and the alumni community, such as information on prominent and successful individuals with auburn ties. Our success is evident in that based on participation statistics we have one of the top alumni programs in the country.
