Mental Health, Health

1033 Corporate Square Drive St. Louis MO 63132 USA

As the rates of stress-related illness and depression continue to increase rapidly throughout the world, the Anthropedia Foundation recognizes the need to introduce a new approach to well-being in order to help people understand concrete strategies and methods that can improve mental and physical health.

Current solutions for achieving mental and physical health are often ineffective because they tend to focus almost exclusively on reducing negative emotions, symptoms, and harmful behaviors, while neglecting the importance of cultivating wellness in the entire human being.

The Anthropedia Foundation works from the premise that problems in our body, thoughts, and psyche are intimately related to one another and that developing well-being requires a fully integrated approach that attends to all facets of the human condition, including the sexual, material, emotional, cultural, intellectual, and spiritual dimensions of life.

The Anthropedia Foundation's international network of scientists, physicians, artists, and educators partners with universities, hospitals, and leading philanthropists to advance the development of individual and social well-being.

The foundation applies knowledge of mind-body health and the latest research in the Science of Well-Being, including new findings in positive psychology, character development, nutrition, complementary therapy, and self-awareness in order to teach an integrated approach to well-being.
