LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this organization! I have brought my dogs to the vet here for the last few years and I also adopted a pet for the first time from them not too long ago. My daughter and I volunteer at this shelter twice a month, so you see the real stuff that goes on behind the scenes. The staff and volunteers are very dedicated people. They work hard & love these animals. They take in all animals, even goats, turtles, etc. and try to place them in proper ... more »

This is the only shelter in the State of Illinois which accepts strays 365 days, 24 hours/ day and renders immediate medical care to all strays entering.
