Food, Human Services, Seniors
1495 Poinsettia Ave Ste 151 Vista CA 92081 USA
The County of San Diego estimates that 50,000 senior citizens live below poverty level in this area. Their needs are the most basic; The Angel''s Depot provides nonperishable, nutritious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a box designed to last a needy senior citizen one week. This is a "food security" box to be used when a senior''s Social Security check runs out before the end of the month. This pilot program could go nationwide if successful in this area.
