The Proper name for this CHARITABLE ORGANIZAION is
The ANCIENT ORDER OF HIBERNIAN'S in America, this Division is named the
"Commodore John Barry Ancient Order of Hibernian's, Division 11 Nassau County.
Division 11 has been in Hicksville since the 1950's.
In 2011, AOH Division 11 was again presented with an Award from the State and National Board for their Charitable Works. A.O.H. Division 11 has also been active promoting Local Sports, Parades and Festivals in the area.
All donations were quickly distributed to the specific cause they were donated for!
The largest this year was their Hunger Project, delivering food and personal items to as many outreach centers as possible. Veteran’s cause was second largest recipient, donating to Achilles International and The Wounded Warriors Project. The AOH also help the families of the armed forces supporting Toys-For-Tots, Picnics and Holiday Parties while their loved ones are overseas.
You can be confident that any donation made to this 501(c ), AOH Div. 11 In Hicksville is well spent.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
How they work with the other Divisions putting together the Nassau County Irish Festival, Running the Saint Patrick's Day Parade and the custom food drives for the various pantry's individual needs.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
