The american college of preventive medicine (acpm) is a professional organization of physician specialists who practice preventive medicine. Acpm advances the science and practice of disease prevention and health promotion. Acpm also provides leadership in research.
Membership: acpm represents the interest of the specialty within organized medicine, the public health community and in federal settings. It keeps members informed of activities within preventive medicine through newsletter and the american journal of preventive medicine.
grants and contracts: grants and contracts enhance the field of preventive medicine by providing support for education activities and programs in areas such as adolescent health, environmental health, clinical preventive services and curriculum development.
annual meeting: acpm holds an annual meeting with educational programs and forums for preventive medicine professionals.
