AFS has been very successful in assisting me with my transition from parole to freedom. I was a parolee in the program. I staying in the program for 1 year and once I left I had approx $11,000 saved and was able to get a studio. I also left the program employed and they gave me aftercare services for 90 days after I transitioned. Some of their funding was cut but they are still going strong.
