As the Chief Financial Officer of Aid El Salvador, I'd like to welcome you to our postings on Guidestar. You're here because you want to know as much as possible about our organization. We welcome that. We began in 2004 as the brainchild of two US Peace Corps volunteers who wanted to help education efforts in their small rural communities in the northwest corner of El Salvador. Their vision coupled with the enterprising spirit of our Board Members and people on the ground has made educational opportunties available throughout El Salvador for hundreds of students. During 2009, we were also priviledged to work in recovery efforts following the early November heavy rains and flooding. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of financial accountability and welcome any inquiries you might have along these lines.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

countless numbers of children continuting their education

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

keep moving it in the direction it's going

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

meeting grateful, friendly students and parents.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

...well I think they're great!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

...it would, honesty, have some real growth pains. We enjoy the support we have now, and are thankful for any additional contributions.

Ways to make it better...

we could only do more

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

to keep up with ever increasing needs.

One thing I'd also say is that...

please contact us with any questions.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
