Although there are several organizations focusing on clean water and hygiene education in developing countries, most do not focus specifically on children. The majority of these organizations primarily concentrate on community development and perform most of their work in rural locations. They are performing tremendous work that is providing better lives for millions of people every year. However, from extensive overseas work revolving around water purification for children in poor countries, the founders of A Child's Right have seen firsthand which facilities are not receiving foreign assistance.A Child's Right was established to fill this gap and provide charitable relief for children living in orphanages and street shelters as well as those attending schools and visiting children's hospitals in impoverished urban and semi-urban areas in underdeveloped countries. This target population remains severely underserved and as such our mission revolves solely around these children and improving their lives through relatively simple provisions of water purification systems and hygiene education.
