Someone who had 3 hours of volunteer time could: Mentor students as they become better writers, work with students to finish their homework, develop students' confidence in their literary voice, and help students become published authors!

Programs: With the help of volunteers, we provide after-school tutoring, evening and weekend workshops, in-school tutoring, help for English language learners, and assistance with student publications.

Mission:
826LA is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write.
Results:
We helped over 10,000 students in and around Los Angeles last year and published the writing of over 6300 students!
