Top Volunteer Opportunities in Charlotte 2013

Want to volunteer or intern at a great Charlotte nonprofit? Whether you’re new to Charlotte, trying to change up your routine with some local charity work, or just want to volunteer or intern at a community not for profit, everyone knows that the best way to find the right place for you is from the people who’ve been there!

Here’s a list of volunteers’ and interns’ favorite Charlotte charities. Every organization on this list has earned an overall score of 4 or greater out of 5 on, and must have been reviewed by at least 5 volunteers. If your favorite Charlotte non-profit or volunteer gig is missing, find it on, write a positive review, and show your co-volunteers how to start adding reviews and get it on the list!

Campus Pride 1234.888895
‘The gift of being able to witness the life-changing experiences of each year’s Campers — especially those who come from from schools or communities that do not give them much support — makes it well worth my time.”

Assistance League of Charlotte                   12345
“I joined Assistance League of Charlotte on the recommendation of a friend at church after my retirement. The services provided to the community are awesome! My favorite program is Operation School Bell, clothing elementary school children from uniform schools. These kids will melt your heart with their smiles, hugs and heartfelt thanks.”

Mommies Network 1234.85
“The more years I spend as a member of, a volunteer for The Mommies Network, and now a member of the national site, the more I grow to love this organization for all of the possibilities that set forth for their membership.”
