NCADD Sacramento is a local affiliate of a national organization founded in 1944 by Marty Mann, the first woman to maintain sobriety in the modern recovery movement. Today we adhere to a core system of values and beliefs that echo Marty’s vision. We believe that our services should be accessible to all; we believe in using only best practice and evidence based curriculum; we believe in a holistic approach to recovery; we believe in respecting the individual.
The problems associated with addiction permeate our community, and so do the solutions: healthier families, a more productive economy, less crime, more efficient health care, and the promise of hope.
