HOMELESS EMERGENCY PROJECT INC
Mission:
HEP’s mission is to provide homeless and low income individuals and families with housing, food, clothing and support services necessary to obtain self-sufficiency and improved quality of life.
Results:
In 2009, 1,078 clients were housed in our emergency, transitional, and permanent supportive housing. Over 70,000 meals were served in our newly remodeled kitchen. Our unique on-site program, Morton Plant Mental Health Outreach, saved over $2 million by avoiding 505 hospital ER visits. Our on-site full-service Free Dental Clinic provided an estimated $237,000 in dental care to homeless men and women.

Everybody's Tabernacle/HEP is the very best run shelter in the USA. This was my home church for over 50 years.
