5-10 Acres of Property
Alpha House seeks donation of property to build a transitional home to house 12 ladies with room in the future to build apartments for those that successfully complete the program. This community would afford additional time for the residents to reunify with family and receive support services needed for successful reentry.

In 2010, LAHH began to offer Document Digitalization (see the attached brochure) in order to employee adults with disabilities who have showed a particular interest and desire to learn computer skills and to direct their career into this field. Our request for funding,will be applied to the operating costs of this new line of business.

Since 1998 we’ve provided guidance, support, and opportunities for New York City’s underserved or at-risk high school girls, enabling them to develop their creative, independent voices, explore careers in professional writing, and learn how to make healthy school, career, and life choices.
Now entering our thirteenth season of programming, Girls Write Now is seeking passionate writers, teachers, and leaders.

Mentors, staff and volunteers are required to bring people from poverty to the sense of real lasting accomplishment.
