Animal Welfare Campaign
FAQ
What is the Animal Welfare Campaign?
There are many great nonprofit organizations making a difference on behalf of animals, both wild and domestic, here and overseas. GreatNonprofits wants to hear from YOU about YOUR experience—how are these organizations having an impact? Which ones are great? Which ones need some improvement? Your opinions of organizations you've been involved with will raise the visibility of the nonprofits that are really doing great work and help them get more resources and support. So post your reviews and become a part of the 2010 Animal Welfare Campaign!
Nonprofits that receive 10 or more reviews will make the GreatNonprofits Top-Rated Animal Welfare Nonprofits List, and will receive promotion through GreatNonprofits, the media and our partners.
Who is eligible?
Anyone who has had personal experience with a nonprofit organization is encouraged to post reviews. Paid employees are not allowed to post a review for that organization. There are no age minimums or limits and no strict definition of "experience." We urge volunteers, board members, donors, and clients served to tell their stories and give these organizations a chance to increase their visibility in the 2010 Animal Welfare Campaign.

Can I post more than one review?
You may post reviews for as many organizations as you've been involved with- the more the better. But each person is only allowed to post one review per organization.
I work for a Animal Welfare nonprofit. How can I help my organization participate in the Animal Welfare Campaign?
GreatNonprofits urges organizations to take an active role in gathering reviews. Feel free to publicize the campaign to your constituents- send emails, post it to your website, include it in newsletters, send Facebook and Twitter updates... these are all people who are passionate about your work and would love to post reviews!
Do I have to pay?
GreatNonprofits and the Animal Welfare Campaign are completely free. We will never ask organizations or individuals to pay for this resource.
What is the deadline?
All reviews must be posted by 11:59pm PST on July 31st, 2010 in order to be counted for the Campaign.
What is the benefit to my organization for participating?
Every organization that receives 10 or more positive reviews (4 or 5 stars) by the end of the campaign will be promoted to potential donors and to the media via GreatNonprofits and Guidestar.
