Zeeland Nonprofits and Charities

I am a director with Kids Hope USA in Hudsonville, Michigan. Since I began working with them, I have time and again been impressed with the amount of support and resources they provide for directors, mentors, and schools involved in their programs. They have so many amazing resources available and provide excellent training for directors and volunteers. They serve with excellence, integrity, and commitment.

I am on the board of Punch List Partners in the Holland/Zeeland Area. The focus is to "Empower individuals to be successful with Basic Home Repairs through Training". We will be starting our training in January 2023 with basic drywall repair. Look at our site at www.punchlistpartners.org for more information. We are always looking for ways to partner with other non-profits, businesses and individuals to be successful with offering this service. We were established in March, 2022.

These are the best volunteers, all retired although keeping busy. I so appreciate the help they gave me on unfinished projects after my husband passesd away. They truly will be rewarded in <br>on there journey to heaven. <br> <br>Thanks to a great team. <br>Becky VanKley <br>

This is something that I should have done a long time ago, but I couldn't find the right page! I'm not very good with computers but had my daughter show me enough to be able to write a review about this organization.I have had to go to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minesotta for life saving treatment and without this organization I would have died months ago. The entire problem of transportation was taken care of from start to finish.The person on the phone( I believe her name was Sharron)had a kind,patient voice. She re-assured me that they could help and sure enough they did. If I were to drive,it would take me 12-14 hours and absolute torture to get there. I live on the Upper peninsula of Michigan.Sharron told me that they had a varity of pilots that volunteered their time to fly people in financial hardship to medical appointments.One of the diseases that I have is only treated in two hospitals in this country. Boston and Rochester.She told me to pick which one!! I was there in 3 hours!The pilots were amazing. They made sure that my husband and I were very comfortable and had everything we needed. They even showed us the equipment that they used and showed us points of interest. The quilt to keep my legs warm was the icing on the cake. One even shared his cookies!!!They were so kind that it made me cry.I have had to go back 6 times in the past year and will have to go back in June.This organization can litterally say that they saved my life because they did. I've told everyone I know about them and when I'm a little stronger my husband, daughter and myself will be holding a benefit concert for them to help raise money so that they can continue to do this incredible service.They deserve it and don't even ask for it.This is something that I and my family will never,ever be able to thank them enough for. God bless them and keep them safe.Just when you think that there is no hope,something like this pops up. Thankyou once again, all of you. My love and greatfullness always, Lee Ann Vigliotti.
