This is an amazing organization that does so much good. They have low overhead, are very transparent and are dedicated to their mission. I have nothing but respect for the Save a Childs Heart Foundation and hope they ill grow exponentially in the future.

Has a board member who is an active backyard breeder. The organization claims to not adopt to people with not-spayed pets but then has a board member who breeds and does adoption placement. They turn down perfectly good homes because of not-spayed pets (who aren't even being bred!). Total double standard. Not a reputable rescue to donate to. Previous good reviews on this page were written by board members.

A Different Path, Inc. is an organization that provides a much needed service to young women of color charting their way to college and beyond. Sheila Bruce, the eloquent and driven founder of the organization was a former teacher and remembers the challenges of being young and attending a competitive college that her family was having a hard time paying for. <br>"It was a struggle but I made it through and graduated with honors." I was attracted to support this organization because of Ms. Bruce's zeal and commitment to serve others especially young women of color. Ms. Bruce makes certain students who become ADP Scholars of her program are fully supported and do not contemplate dropping out particularly because they may need to plug a financial gap to buy new clothes, commute to school, go back home to see a sick family member or return home for Winter, Holiday or Spring break. Scholarships and Grants are simply not enough to meet the costs of all academic and non academic costs. Through ADP's signature annual event DENIMS and DIAMONDS, Sheila Bruce works exceedingly hard to raise necessary funds to cover many of the hidden costs that prop up during the academic year. The results of her effort? -- many students, now graduates with high GPAs who surrendered their worry of finances to an angel called Sheila Bruce and an organization that not only served their immediate need but became family for forever support and community.

Food for Life Global is making a real difference in the world through their liberal distribution of pure plant-based meals prepared with love. We believe that since food is so central to every culture it is has the capacity to solve all social problems, and not just hunger. <br> <br>World hunger is a symptom of a world that has lost its way and specifically by forgetting that we are all earthlings and therefor equal. Establishing true equality is the way forward and there is no better way to express this truth than by sharing food.

GREAT PROYECT. MUCH NEEDED AT WORLD LEVEL <br>NONPROFIT OF PUBLIC INTEREST. GREAT BOOST FOR DEMOCRATIZATION OF ART. <br>GOOD SENSE OF SHARING. <br>THE MUSEUM AND ITS SURROUNDINGS ARE OF EXCEPTIONAL CHARACTER AND STYLE. <br>

This is a wonderful Foundation, with scholarships to young people who would not otherwise be able to study the arts. Its special focus is on acting and performing arts, but it is not limited to those. The organization has received wonderful, personal letters from young people who called it "life-changing" and included references to being able to do something that they thought they would never have the opportunity to do, and to feel like somebody cares.

Great group of volunteers that work on exciting projects that bring the arts and self esteem to children. I really liked the fact that all the volunteers came from diverse backgrounds. It was great to see so many talented people committed to working together.
