Very practical illustrations. They care and invest whole-heartedly with the students. Everything they say and do points to our Lord and Saviour. As a Donor I am Privileged to support Shepherds Way....<br>They have several programs to help the homeless, a couple of those programs are, warm coats and boots as well as a hats and gloves program for school children. I started going on short-term mission trips with Vision International Missions in 2009 and by 2011 was volunteering with the organization, joined the Board in 2013 and still volunteer as Board Secretary and Fundraising Director. With this direct, first-hand experience with VIM, I can tell you that there are no paid employees--not even the director. Everyone volunteers their time, wear more than one hat and work to share the love of God with a needy world. The mission trips are what we jokingly call "low luxury". We travel to 3rd world countries, meet up with missionaries on the ground there and do medical and dental clinics, evangelism, marketplace ministry training, building projects, and more. We have relationships that extend back 35 years with full-time missionaries in various countries. We recently learned that over 116 churches have been planted in Ghana over the last few years as a direct result of the mission visits by team coordinated through VIM! Join us by praying for team safety, providing financial support so we can reply to missionary requests and natural disaster relief request, consider taking a trip with us and consider volunteering. A wonderful organization that does so much good for the the people of New Hampshire.

My family and I have volunteered with Food for Children in Manchester NH over a period of 3 years. This is a group of people who truly care about the less fortunate and go through immense effort to ensure families are provided free groceries on a weekly basis. They bring in fresh produce, breads, and meats and give them out to ~300 families each week. They also give turkeys during Thanksgiving and toys during Christmas. It is an extremely well run organization led by Peter Dalrymple and the board of directors. We are thankful to have had the opportunity to volunteer with this group and have direct interactions with the less fortunate.

What a great resource for the area.<br>I've used services at their Manchester location for years and refer many folks here.

This organization is working tirelessly to spay and neuter feral cats and assist those who can't afford to pay for spay/neuter surgery on their pets. They are a small organization of volunteers but they are making a huge impact on the overpopulation of cats in this State.

Well what can I say but they are great! They help with a local food pantry and have a lot of varieties Thank you!

This organization provided me with free education to help me prepare for my first home ownership! Now that i am a homeowner i see that they are invested in making housing affordable in my community. They are a wonderful entity.

I started with CTAC-NH.org, shortly after it's opening over 3 years ago. I mostly work as a tech on Saturdays , but also have represented them at fairs, and have collected used computers from various sources for them, and have even sold some of heir products as well. <br> <br>They do a good job of making sure the system functions properly and works to keep the costs as low as possible for it's customer. We securely wipe all hard drives as the 1st procedure when they come in the door. We even offer a certificate of that fact if needed for the donars records. Most often anything you donate can be written off as a tax deduction. That is something you need to check with your tax preparer on. <br> <br>We install Windows 7 and do all the updates, as well as add some verfy good, free, working programs that help maintain the operation of the system. We also do repairs, and we will do the repairs that most other places will not, and at a cost well below anyone else may charge you. <br> <br>We service both the regular consumer and corporate customer, and the special circumstnces indiviual and other non profits and schools. Is it free, no! Is it cheap, not really! But it is relativly inexpenssive and helpful to the community. <br> <br>If you have any older IT equipment, of any type, plase bring to us so we can repurpose and recycle it so those who can't aford a brand new are not left behind. <br> <br>we are now located at 100 willow st. manchester, NH

I have worked in social services for over 40 years and have never known an agency, public or private, as ethical and committed to quality service as CFSNH. Truly a stellar organization.

It was dirty and smelled bad! <br>Had to deal with being treated like garbage. <br>All you hear at night are flees jumping around you i was bit a number of times. <br>To say the least i was treated 100 times better when i was in jail then when i went there.

I would just like to let everyone kknow what this organization has done for me and my family. I moved into their housing program in may of 2008 into their family willows building, it was built for women, and women with children who are facing issues with addiction and/or trauma. Not only did they give me and my family a place to call home, they providied me with a treatment cooridinater, therapist, intensive outpatient program and many groups along with childcare. They also opened The family place therapeutic pre-school for three and four year old children whose parents are participants in fit programming, my youngest daughter has been in the pre-school for two years and loves it, she is going to kindergarten in September and I willl miss the preschool and the staff dearly. They have done so much for my daughter and have given her oppurtunityies that I could never have afforded to give her right now. This program has saved my life and because of them I went from being a homless drug addicted parent to being clean and sober for over four years and I am one year away from my bachelor's degree in human services. I no longer live in their program, I have since graduated successfully in April of 2012, and live in the community, but i remain committed to giving back to this wonderful organization and I love everything they stand for., so I volunteer as a peer advocate leader and recovery coach for families in transition and remain in close contact with the organization. I truly believe they helped me to go from just barely surviving, to being a productive and functioning member of society. I live each day with so much gratitude for what I have, and I have learned that with the right support nothing is out my reach, They also taught me that it is never to late to turn my life around regardless of the mistakes I have made. I can achieve anything I put my mind to and become a better person for myself and my children. I have gained my independance and my self esteem with the help of Families in Transition and one day I only hope I can work for a non-profit such as families in transition and give back all the knowledge I was given to others who feel helpless and hopeless too.
