Stefanie and crew are a true godsend! The ability to have clean clothes and bedding is beyond amazing. Buy that's not enough for this underappreciated group of amazing humans! They go out of their way to help many of us in the community that don't have the ability to keep everything clean and bring more to the table to help. Hygiene bags, socks, etc! Love these people!!!!!

I was first introduced to the Valley Veterans Service Office while attending a Community Symposium at the local community college. I had just recently relocated to the valley after retiring from public service with the federal government. I am also a 21 year veteran of the US Navy. <br>I was attending the symposium looking for ways to give back to help our community. It was there that I was introduced to Mike Warner and Dan Griffin, the Veterans Service Officers. Their enthusiasm for what they do was very apparent as they spoke about the various services they offer. They invited me to come to the center for a tour which I took them up on their invitation. <br>I am very impressed with the ingenuity and creativity these gentlemen have had to show to make the most of the limited resources they have in order to provide quality and compassionate service to our veterans. I was amazed at how many veterans they serve, and that number is increasing weekly as word of mouth is being spread that veterans can get help here. Mike and Dan are a personification of the concept of: "Work smarter, not harder!" Thank you for your service!!!

Trap Free Montana, Inc and its leadership is an across the board excellent organization. They are relentless, creative, action-and-results oriented, in their mission to bring forth a much better life for wolves, bears, wild cats, wolverines, coyotes and all the diverse yet persecuted and exploited wild beings in Montana and beyond. When the day finally arrives when honest science, decency, respect and co-existence are the guiding principles for wildlife policies in Montana and across the United States, Trap Free Montana will be one of the groups responsible for this beautiful new day for everyone.

Trap Free Montana Public Lands (TFMPL) is a small "nonprofit take-action organization working for trapping reform” in Montana.<br><br>In my beautiful state, less than 1% of people trap, but they hold sway over our legislature where trapping bills are introduced by legislators who are trappers and somehow almost all of the trapping bills pass. Current bills include unlimited take of wolves under one license, use of bait, hunting on private lands at night using artificial light, use of inhumane neck snares, and even bounty hunting. These traps, set on OUR public lands kill many other species -mammals, large birds and even our dogs are slain in what is euphemistically termed 'incidental take’. <br><br>Unfortunately, our legislature is ignoring science, Montana’s biologists, wildlife managers, public opinion, and very importantly- input from native populations when they pass these cruel bills.<br><br>This is where TFMPL comes in. By honoring the public trust doctrine and trying to achieve bipartisan support, they are tirelessly working to protect our public wildlife on our public lands. <br><br>Trap Free Montana Public Lands gives many trapping education presentations both in and out-of-state. They are always available to answer questions in a very timely fashion. <br><br>When our legislature is in session, TFMPL emails key information on each bill being introduced. At legislative committee meetings, they are often the only wildlife advocates present! At those meetings, this small nonprofit is often thwarted by being given misinformation. TFMPL will pick available slots for speakers (who take time off from work to speak) and then those speakers will not be allowed to present "for lack of time". It is a thankless job which they do uncomplainingly. <br><br>Trap Free members have even been physically threatened by trappers, but they keep at it because as their director KC says, “If we don’t speak up for the trapped animals who can’t, then who will?”<br><br>This small organization is respected for speaking the truth about trapping, for educating us on responsible stewardship and trapping reform, and for promoting ethics using the best available science.<br><br>For the above reasons my family and friends wholeheartedly support their mission.

I've been a volunteer for the Hamilton Players in many aspects over the last 16 years. The Playhouse brings culture and the arts to our community, with an emphasis on including local youth. They provide an outlet for creativity that would be greatly missed if it were not available. <br>Along with quality shows for audiences to enjoy, they involve community members doing everything from acting on the stage to painting sets to taking tickets and greeting people during the shows. We take great pride in having the Hamilton Playhouse as part of our community.

We have adopted 3 beautiful girls from them. They are true loves! They have been so honest, helpful and encouraging. I cannot say enough good about the work these wonderful volunteers do! Beautiful souls helping these big, beautiful souls who want nothing more than their forever homes and humans! Thank you!

Unique art experiences offered every month in the gallery and a wide variety of workshops. Events for all ages including families. Many free events so all may enjoy the arts, visual, performance and the written word and summer youth art camps.

Since 2000 the Bitter Root RC&D has done tremendous work in Ravalli, Mineral and Missoula Counties, MT in the wildland urban interface to reduce the risk of wildland fires, protect property and the lives of fire fighters.<br><br>Their fiscal sponsorship has incubated many successful nonprofit organization like the Clark Fork Coalition, Bitterroot Water Forum and the Bitterroot Land Trust.<br><br>I am excited about the work of the Bitterroot Collective Impact facilitating efforts to end homelessness and alleviate housing insecurity in Ravalli County.

This place is amazing. The building is always clean and the environment is always friendly. The staff here is very friendly, helpful, and professional. They work hard with all their clients. They offer a loan closet that is available to anyone. They have many helpful things in the loan closet like wheelchairs, canes, crutches, walkers, and much more. They are in good condition and only ask for a small monetary donation. I have never had a bad experience here and I highly recommend it to anyone who is over 60 or anyone with aging family, friends or relatives.
