The Homeless Empowerment Program (HEP) played a pivotal role in shaping who I am today. As a child, my family and I faced immense hardships, but HEP provided us with the support, stability, and resources we desperately needed to move forward. Their dedication to empowering families like mine gave us the opportunity to rebuild our lives.<br><br>Through their programs, I not only found safety and structure but also the inspiration to dream bigger. Today, I am proud to have recently graduated with my Master of Social Work (MSW) and am committed to serving others just as HEP served me. The values of compassion, service, and perseverance instilled in me during my time with HEP remain the driving force in my career and life.<br><br>I will forever be grateful to HEP for giving my family hope during our darkest times and helping me break the cycle of hardship. Karen & Bless the Children are such a gift to so many Honduran families & communities. I was fortunate enough to visit the school high up in the mountains in 2023 & 2024 - the educational opportunities that this organization has provided has positively impacted the future of the children there. I felt the immense gratitude of their families during our visit. Thank you Karen for not forgetting these precious children.

An amazing program that truly supports Clearwater youth. They make sports accessible to all kids by reducing financial barriers through scholarships and grants, while also focusing on character and teamwork. A positive impact on families and the community.

Each person that comes into their beautiful donation center can feel the miracles that take place. The center offers essential resources like hygiene products, food, clothing, and more, ensuring that individuals and families have access to the basic needs that are so often taken for granted. Hundreds of families across Tampa Bay are made better by the incredible work that Hands Across the Bay does. Whether it’s providing financial assistance, offering emotional support, or supplying life-changing resources, this organization has had a profound impact on countless lives. It is my good fortune that after moving to Florida I found the Arc of Tampa Bay. Having used the Arc of Maryland as a resource for my family, I was excited to learn more about the Arc of Tampa Bay. <br>The Arc of Tampa Bay does such wonderful work with workshops for home life, career, and social life for its clients. I have had the opportunity to teach cooking classes to enthusiastic clients who gave back to me so much with their appreciation and admiration. Volunteering is so rewarding. <br>Since then I have drummed with the clients. This is a fun, engaging activity that brings smiles to everyone and encourages fellowship. Last year I attended my first Arc Festival of Trees that raises money to support the Arc of Tampa Bay’s many group homes, day facilities, art studio, workshops, and more. Most recently, I have jointed the Arc of Tampa Bay’s marketing committee in promoting this organizations good work. It truly is an honor. <br>

211 Tampa Bay Cares assisted a dear friend on identifying many resources that helped her on a journey to wellness. They were thorough, efficient and caring throughout the process.

I brought my California grandgirsl to see Winter. They were excited. We had a special tour since I work with sea turtles. First we walked through the intake lab/room, and the food prep rooms. The mats on the floor were explained to the kids and they saw winters food.. Through out our visit we were introduced to staff, vets, and others. I was impressed that all of the personnel said hello with a smile ( I learned that it is something they are impressed with, making guests welcome, and they did it naturally).<br><br>Thank you Clearwater for the super visit, and for taking good care of sea turtles we bring you for care form the space Coast.

I have been a donor and a sponsor for FOHO for almost 3 years now, and because of this, one of their kids is actually able to go to school, eat every day and have a safe life away from the dangers of the streets where she would end up otherwise. Because of $2 a day I decided I could spare to save a life in Haiti, she sleeps in a safely built dorm with other girls her age, in an actual bed, rather than a makeshift tent in some corner of Haiti where she can be attacked, abused and left exposed to the elements. <br> <br>Your morning coffe costs probably more than that. That dress you never wear in your closet or those tools in the garage you didn't really need cost probably the equivalent a few months of food and a pair of shoes for one of the kids there, or it could pay for a month of salary of one of the orphanage teachers, who often go unpaid but keep going, for sake of the kids. <br> <br>If you are reading this, you are in the position to give at least a one time donation and make a difference even for just a single day It would be huge. My story is just simple and gratefulness of being able to rehab my bathroom that was constructed in 1948. I encountered GLENN. He remarked " I don't know I' m doing but I will do my best". He showed me lights, tile and other items needed for my needed bathroom project. I needed my bathroom to be handicap accessible also and also found for bar there too. Glenn never missed a beat to show this disable Gal where things where locate and to find someone load items in my vehicle. We need more people like Glenn that is going above and beyond his job. Schools and parents are already so busy, the programs from the Center for Cyber Safety and Education helps volunteers to deliver impactful presentations targeted for different ages and parents. As a volunteer myself, I've received great feedback from parents and teachers, as well as having a great feeling of preparing families for safe Internet use.

I have been observing the impact that this group has had on our society for years now and I know how important it is what they do. Too many of the public are not aware of the rights they have or think that they have right that they really dont.<br>Keep up the great work!

Because of his dyslexia, not only were my son's grades suffering, but his self-esteem was as well. He was starting to act out in school due to his embarrassment, confusion, and anger. The staff at dePaul understood and embraced him from day one, they were caring and patient with him. He found allies and friends in the other students who completely got where he was coming from with zero judgement. There are still milestones to achieve, but thanks to dePaul we got our son back.

Both of my grandchildren go to Clearwater Academy and I am so pleased with their progress in many ways. My 7 year old granddaughter is not only very smart and interested but she is also kind and helpful and creative and loving and artistic and has many great ideas. This has a lot to do with the school she goes to. <br>My 4 year old grandson is also very smart but he is also funny and can express himself so well and is a great game player and athlete and in very good communication with people and the world, loves to help and learn and wants to grow up. This also has a lot to do with the school he goes to. <br>Both children are just doing really well. <br>In Clearwater Academy children are LOVED and everybody wants them to do well and be the best they can be. All the teachers do their job with all their heart. <br>Thanks so much for what you do each day for our children to make them the best they can be and lead a happy and successful life!

My giving story for the Clearwater Marine Aquarium:<br />Once upon a time, there was a small, scared bottlenose dolphin who had become entangled in fishing gear and was stranded with no hope of survival. Then fate stepped into her story when a human cared enough to call for help. The little dolphin was taken from the only home she knew and transported to a place with new sights and sounds. She was frightened and injured, but her human friends assured her that they could help her. Those humans fell in love with the brave dolphin, and she started to trust them. There was already a dolphin named Summer at the rescue hospital, so they named the little dolphin Winter. <br /><br />The best part of the story was yet to come. She survived, but lost her tail to irreparable injury. The experts had a terrible decision to make: put the little dolphin out of her misery, or see how she handled her predicament. Fortunately for dolphin fans around the world, her life was spared. One brave, tiny dolphin was about to become the most loved and inspirational symbol in recent memory.<br /><br />Almost overnight, the movie about Winter's struggle and eventual acceptance of an prosthetic tail made her a star. I even saw the movie twice and cried through it both times. The part that gets me every time is the end when physically challenged children and adults travel to meet the dolphin without a tail. When they touch Winter, I can feel the excitement between them and their hero. The human and the dolphin- so different, so much the same. To communicate without speaking. Just a smile and a squeak. Yet both understand the challenges of the other. I saw her in person recently, and she has a gift of connecting with us. Giving to her rescue hospital felt natural.<br /><br />The movie "Dolphin Tale" not only transformed the Clearwater community, it changed everyone who saw it, an incredible feat. Who knows how many kids have been inspired to keep pushing through pain because Winter did? Or how many veterans try a prosthetic leg because if a dolphin can do it, why shouldn't they? Winter and her story will be told for generations because she is brave, she is the first dolphin to survive without a tail, but mostly because she connects with people in a way that makes us feel good.

This organization does exactly what they say, in the quickest and most efficient way possible. They keep kids from entering foster care by providing them what they need to stay in a safe and stable home. They even help youth who have already aged out to fill in the life skills gaps they missed as a child in the system. Every county needs a Suncoast Voices!

This money grubbing purported charity was complicit in the death of a not 3 month old child, their negligence was disturbing in placing the child into a foster care environment where the foster parent going against every known procedure of due care, allowed little Kwon to suffocate by placing him on a blanket on an adult bed where by some unexplained suspicious method managed to go face down and suffocate. <br><br>This organization has a plethora of strange deaths associated with it and pulls in over 193 million dollars via sweetheart government contracts and political influence.<br><br>The CEO pulls down over 745,000 per year for killing children, a bad money grubbing charity not worthy of donations.

Blue Lotus Buddhist Meditation Center has been based in Venice Florida since 2014. Our building was destroyed by a tropical storm in 2021. Since that time we hold classes in the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Venice. <br><br>Our dream is to one day have another home of our own where we can continue classes in loving kindness, mindfulness, and Buddhist Wisdom. We wish to go beyond that with offerings that benefit the whole spectrum of human experience. We were in great need of rent, both Lucas and Iris were starting a new job, with 2 weeks pay on hold when new put us behind by 2 month...Jannie came and they took great care of us and also for my young daughter. They didn't let us go until we were on our feet. Today we are homeowner of two home and ready to sale one to retire .. Isaiah's Inn is so kind and giving I call them my Angels from Heaven...you can trust this nonprofit agency...thank you from Lucas, Iris and Angel Ortiz we will always pray and give thanks you are in town helping...

I am privileged to have worked closely with Jeremy Lewis, founder and President, in finding resources for victims of human trafficking.<br>I personally witnessed him use his contacts and expertise of IAHTI to literally save a girl's life who was on a plane being taken to a country she would have never left.<br>IAHTI has developed relationships that makes it the "go to" for law enforcement when seeking assistance with cases in different areas.
