I sooo appreciate all the stories St. Joseph’s shares about their students and families and challenges and successes. I I feel so good about my donations knowing they are helping children succeed! Thank you St. Joseph’s for being so supportive generous and caring to your children and families, but also for sharing the stories with me.

I worked for this "charity" as a content creator for two years. They claim to empower Native Americans and undo injustices they've suffered. The sad truth is that they are incorporated with st josephs indian school and the priests of sacred heart seminary in Wisconsin. St Josephs Indian school has a checkered past rife with claims of fraud and sexual abuse. Members of staff have allegedly voted to make it more difficult to prosecute the perpetrators. About one third of your donations are funding rich white men like Rodney Arnold, acting an income tax shelter. The overpaid non-native staff utilize Interpassivity and the white savior complex to generate funds that allow them to live more comfortably than their native subjects. They maintain an incredibly toxic work environment that has seen nearly every non senior member resign, quit, or fired. Non Disclosure Agreements have been issued heavily to cover this abuse and there are no male staff as of now. Ive seen Native staff forced to resign and a non-native promoted. Ive seen a native woman have her department dissolved right after moving to Detroit, just a couple weeks before Covid was to hit the US. Manipulation of a native subject with huge trauma and resulting mental illness exploited for for artistic contributions. Ive seen others leave in disgust, and contracts terminated unfairly. I personally suffered indignant and unchecked abuse that I will not be detailing here, but rather in an op-ed that will substantiate these claims. Native lives, livelihoods, and safety have been compromised and these conservative christian women act entitled with the money you give them. What you see posted online is a charade or information that is otherwise free. Do you think that they would post anything contrary to their bottom line or otherwise? I have made donations to this charity for awhile. <br>I'm so upset at not being able to find any disclosure on their expenditures. <br>I try to help at home,but all these "gifts' they send can't be cheap as they buy tons of them. <br>i would prefer they spend it on the kids,instead of sending these big packets of junk I don't want or need. <br>I'm stopping my donations as of now,open your books and let me see what you do with the money,ALL the money,and maybe then I'll reconsider.
