Casually browsing through Facebook, and come across a comment from one of the Case Managers about Phila Possibly getting and naming a WNBA team. I cant see donating to an Organization that is supposed to Help underserved people who's employees hold stereotypical views like this:

As a parent, I am very pleased with the quality education that my children receive at Sacred Heart School, one of the 5 Partnership Schools. They are an extension of our family and truly care about the well being of my children. We are truly blessed to be apart of the Catholic Partnership community and family.

I learned more about the nonprofit world in the time that I have been on the Board; the employees are so eager to help me and that is what is so interesting. They have this drive that is unexplainable.

my daughter was sick and in the hospital in philly they made my stay feel like I was at home they treated me like family if I needed to talk some one was always there to give an ear so this year I'm giving my birthday to the Ronald McDonald house so for as long as I can I will be giving to them it for something near and dear to my heart

I started donating to this charity in 2012, then began volunteering. Since then I have only gotten more involved. The power Creative Money Works has in pulling in the youth to get involved in their community is incredibly inspiring. I can’t say enough about their positive team and their empowering mission.

Cathedral Kitchen has been feeding people in Camden in for more than three decades. Many years past, I helped by volunteering to serve; more recently, I've been limited to making donations. But over the years I've consistently noticed growth in its professionalism, while the compassion that prompted the kitchen's formation continues. In the old days, there was something of a rough-and-ready approach, as the food came in casseroles (serving eight) that were made in homes by people intent on doing a good deed. Unfortunately, there could also be serious differences in the food's quality. Some was excellent, but some was out-and-out horrible, however much kindness went into its making. That weakness has long been overcome; meanwhile, the organization has expanded beyond its original mission of feeding the hungry (and feeding them good, inviting food) to include programs such as a dental clinic and job training in culinary arts.

NHS is a waste of time. They spent weeks of prepping and telling you what they can assist with just to do nothing. In fact, the services are not specific to anyone’s needs just cookie cutter. The so called Director and underwriter who happen to be related are unprofessional. You can never get in contact with the two. It’s so sad

Very good organization but membership and Summer Camp are too pricy considering the community they serve.

Dear friends in need, <br> I just came across the June 2013 posting of an unsatisfied, assumed biased individual that was denied rental assistance. I too, have a personal acquaintance that did not receive the aid they believed was deserved in rental assistance also. It happens that this particular individual was hispanic, unlike the writer of the previous review. Monies are allocated towards different services within the organization and come with sets of critieria that will differ from one funding source to another. Obviously, the need may exist but if criterias are not met by the individual requesting the assistance regardless of thier race, then they do not qualify for it. In the same breath the staff refers and suggests other avenues that may be of service if they are not able to provide the assistance.<br> I don't appreciate how the "color or race" card is thrown in to attempt to manipulate or down play an organization that is so vital to the communities it services. Just because the individual didn't get what they wanted when they wanted it doesn't mean that they are not being of service and hold true to their mission. Oh and a tidbit of info.... Director was not hispanic or a minority then or now, not that it differs or alters ethical decision making as they have performed ehtically for many years. I have been, but an observer of the many that they have positively affected and am not an employee of their organization.<br> If anyone is in need of catholic charities assistance, I recommend that you do not let negative feed back stray you away and go without. The least you can do is bring whatever is required with you, be patient, and if they are not able to assist you there, then be prepared to venture to the next avenue of recommendations they offer you. You do the foot work and God will handle the rest. If the need is sincere, God always find away.

I was super nervous going into the dentist in this NPO. However, that quickly changed for me when I began talking to the dentist (Dr Samson). I had a chipped front tooth and after he numbed me, he really took his time to make sure the tooth was perfectly fixed. I’m not even going to lie, my tooth looks better now than when before I chipped it. I’m not one to really write reviews, but they both earned it. This was my first time going and I left extremely happy. I’d would definitely recommend!

I love this program they really help people thats in need not matter the issue. They really care and give way clothes and food to the people.
