Nu3 is a social organization with more than 20 years of experience in the socioeconomic, emotional, and nutritional development of vulnerable families, actively contributing to the eradication of hunger and poverty reduction in the Colombian Caribbean Region. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), at nu3 we have developed a comprehensive and sustainable intervention model that offers a proven and replicable solution for developing vulnerable communities.<br><br>Our 360 model of social intervention integrates all the components necessary for families to build a better future. Through our Integral Centers and Productive Units, we offer a comprehensive approach that includes:<br><br>1. Food Security: We provide a nutritious and balanced daily ration, promote nutritional education focused on accessible and healthy eating, and support exclusive and complementary breastfeeding.<br>2. Life and Mental Health Projects: We provide psychosocial accompaniment and support in personal development, promoting emotional stability and life projection of our beneficiaries.<br>3. Employability and Entrepreneurship Routes: We facilitate job placement and the development of microenterprises to ensure the generation of sustainable income.<br>4. Productive Units: We train beneficiaries to undertake economic projects that strengthen their family income.<br><br>To date, we have positively impacted more than 153,000 people, serving more than 1,000 beneficiaries daily, including children, adolescents, pregnant and lactating women, and the elderly, 365 days a year.<br><br>Our model has proven its effectiveness and long-term sustainability thanks to a rigorous impact measurement structure, which includes key indicators in:<br><br>1. Food Security: Follow-up on nutritional recovery and promotion of breastfeeding.<br>Income Generation and Entrepreneurship: Assessment of sustainable income and microenterprise creation.<br>2. Employability: Measurement of skills development and job placement.<br>3. Mental Health: Assessment of emotional well-being and the development of life projects.<br>4. Socio-economic: Analysis of how beneficiaries progress in living conditions through our intervention routes.<br><br>We would like to invite you to strengthen the impact of nu3 in Colombia and replicate this model of social intervention in other contexts with your support. The center aims to improve the quality of women and girls' lives in a healthy spiritual way, empowering them to fulfill their potential. The center offers a wide range of services, including counseling, support, and treatment, with a focus on specific difficulties and challenges faced by women and girls in their lives.

Como parte del equipo de la fundación siento Alegría de ayudar a niños, adolescentes y abuelos. Es satisfactorio ver que los más vulnerables pueden recibir ayuda . <br>Desde hace más de 30 años ayudo con mi familia a los abuelos y niños. Ahora que la fundación me invitó a lograr y compartir sus logros, mi gestión es hacer el seguimiento y dejar evidencias de que todos los seleccionados se beneficien . <br>Desde un refrigerio, ropa, medicina , uniformes de béisbol, implementos deportivos , sillas de rueda , comida ,charlas de motivación, clínicas , juegos para enseñar valores , etc. es importante para los que no tienen recursos o están necesitados de una mano amiga .<br>

Phone call was fishy. Caller said I could send a check right away but would have to send the credit card by mail?! I requested that they send a letter. Sure glad I did! The web address was incorrect and had a Lansing, MI address on the letter. This one is bad news. I really resent these scam artists. I sit on the board of a very reputable 501c3 organization and this kind of stuff makes it hard on all of us.

I am unemployed, no health insurance, and with no transportation. I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer but saw no way I could get treatment without having the money to pay for it. My doctor had a list of organizations that he thought could help so I began calling them. None returned my calls with the exception of these people. They listened to me, asked questions about my condition and financial situation, and then provided me with names and telephone numbers of local hospitals they thought had a good chance of helping me out. The first one I called, Broward Health, did have a plan for patients in my situation and I was able to set up an appointment to have my case reviewed and I was accepted. I had a great team that worked closely with me all through treatment and while I am still feeling the effects of the therapy, it was successful and I owe it all to that first phone call to these people at the South Florida Cancer Association.
