How to get Started:
Claim your profile: Take 3 minutes and claim/update your nonprofit profile on GreatNonprofits.org if you haven’t already. Used GreatNonprofits before? Get started right away by inviting reviews, see how below
Invite Reviews: Nonprofits that receive 10 positive (4 stars or above) reviews and maintain an overall positive average (of 4 or 5 stars) during the campaign period (January 1, 2014 to October 31, 2014) will win a spot on the GreatNonprofits 2014 Top-Rated List!
Market on Social Media:
Send Emails or Direct Mail to Volunteers, Donors, Employees (you name it)
What it takes to win
To qualify for the 2014 Top-Rated Awards, you need to have at least 10, new positive (4 or 5 star reviews) from different users between January 1st, 2014 and October 31, 2014. And you need to maintain an overall average of 4 or 5 stars during the campaign period (January 1, 2014 to October 31, 2014).
What do Winners Get
Top Rated Badge, Certificate, Press Kit and Marketing Materials to Included in Donor Letters, your Website
You will be listed on our 2014 Top Rated Leaderboard and 2014 #GivingTuesday Guide and will receive promotion throughout the year and during the fundraising season in conjunction with #GivingTuesday
Winners will be promoted via social media, public relations and on our thought leader publications via the Huffington Post and other mediums
Winners may be selected to attend our Annual Technology for Social Good Conference at LinkedIn
Winners will also receive mention from our sponsors and partners, and special designation on the GreatNonprofits site
When will winners be announced
Winners will be announced each month from April 1st to October 31st, and will get a 2014 Top-Rated nonprofit badge and be promoted by GreatNonprofits and our media partners! This year, we also have amazing prizes, like a trip to San Francisco to meet with potential funders, and thousands of dollar’s worth of online advertising.
Winning nonprofits get added to the GreatNonprofits 2014 Top-Rated List, distributed to media and corporate foundations nation-wide. Have you won in the past? Don’t miss the chance to get listed on the 2014 GreatNonprofits Hall of Fame! Past winners who win again in 2014 will be highlighted on a special page on GreatNonprofits.org in addition to being listed on the 2014 Top-Rated List.
